Owner Of Woodland Bakery In Chatham: Store Is Planning Expansion

CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham's Woodland Bakery and Cafe is planning to expand.

Lori Sims, the owner, told Patch that the bakery plans to stay in business and provide more to its customers.

Sims said it's important to keep the bakery running.

"It is rare that you find a free standing bakery these days. Most have pizza or a cafe which essentially helps sustain the bakery side and that is what we must do to survive," Sims said.

Woodland Bakery is located in Hickory Tree Mall on Shunpike Road in Chatham. They're open Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are closed on Mondays.
