2 Killed In South Jersey Wrong-Way Highway Crash On I-676

Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on a South Jersey highway, police said.

CAMDEN – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on a South Jersey highway on Friday night, police said.

Amir Kearney, 24, of Clayton, was driving south on I-676 northbound around 10:50 p.m. when he crashed head-on with another car, police said.

Kearney and the driver of the other car, Cassandra Sackie, 23, of Woodbury, were killed, police said.

Two passengers in Sackie’s car were seriously injured while another passenger sustained less severe injuries, police said.

I-676 was closed for five hours following the crash, police said.
