8 a.m.: Family Fun Bike Ride registration in Challenge Grove Park.

9 a.m.: Bike ride: two-mile and nine-mile easy bike rides that end at Challenge Grove; helmets are required.

10 a.m.: Earth Festival opening, presented by Hutchinson at the main stage; Mayor Chuck Cahn and Sustainable Cherry Hill; Solar panels provided by Powell Energy and Solar; performances by Mann & Paine Elementary Schools & Rosa Middle School Chorus (stage)

10 a.m.: Opening of Art Blooms in Cherry Hill at the Croft Farm Arts Center—Paine & Mann students perform

10:15: performances by the Rosettes and Close Harmony from Rosa International Middle School (stage area)

10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.: Haiku Mistress and Cherry Hill West students create chalk-art haiku on the festival grounds and on the parking lot blacktop in front of the Croft Farm House

10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.: “Little Stevie & His Electric Mojo” performs next to the Croft Farm Arts Center

10:55 a.m.: Kobukan Karate demonstration (stage)

Visit the Sustainable Cherry Hill Plant Exchange; FREE compost; Kids can plant a tree seedling

11 a.m.-noon: Phillie Phanatic entertains at the Phillies’ Red Goes Green booth.

11 a.m. and 1 p.m.: Guided walk of the Croft Farm trails—meet at Cherry Hill Environmental Board booth

11:15 a.m.: Cherry Hill High School East String Quartets

11:40 a.m.: Happy Feet Dance School performance (stage)

11:55 a.m.: Cherry Hill High School East Saxophone Quartet performance (stage)

12:10 p.m.: Pine Barons Barbershop Chorus (stage)

12:45 p.m.: Out of the Beardspace band performance (stage)

1:15 p.m.: The DG Band performs original and cover tunes (stage)

All day:

  • Magnum Computer Recycling accepting end-of-life: Computers, laptops and accessories; cell phones; small household appliances; printers; gaming consoles; small personal electronics/MP3 players; rechargeable batteries. (Festival entrance)
  • Recycle old hangers, batteries and shoes (Festival entrance)
  • Visit the Cherry Hill school character education & sustainability displays
  • The Cherry Hill Food Outreach council will accept non-perishable food donations
  • Visit the Sustainable Cherry Hill Plant Exchange; free compost; Kids can plant a tree seedling
