295 Crash Cleared Near Exit 34, Delays Remain

A crash on Route 295 near Exit 34 for Route 70 that took out two southbound lanes has been cleared, but there were residual delays well after the accident scene was cleaned up, the state Department of Transportation (DOT) reported.

The accident happened just after 6 p.m., and had been cleared by about 6:40 p.m., according to DOT updates, though delays on the southbound side continued following the cleanup because of volume.

There was no immediate word whether anyone was injured in the crash.
