A $3.7 million project on Chapel Avenue in Cherry Hill begins with milling and paving work on Monday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A $3.7 million project on Chapel Avenue in Cherry Hill begins with milling and paving work on Monday, Camden County officials announced. The goal of the project is to calm traffic, improve curbs and handicap accessibility, and add bike and shoulder lanes.

“The roadway will remain open at all times during this stage of the project, and residents who live along Chapel Avenue will always have access to their homes,” Camden County Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Department of Public Works, said. “Still, crews will be utilizing lane shifts and other measures to accommodate both motorists and personnel, which may cause delays, shifting traffic patterns, and sudden stops. Please be extra cautious when driving through the construction area.”

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Timing is dependent on weather and is subject to change. Read more here: $3.7M Project On Chapel Avenue In Cherry Hill Begins This Fall
