8 To Run For 4 Open Seats On Cherry Hill Council
Four Democrats and four Republicans filed petitions to run for four open seats on Cherry Hill Council in the Nov. 2 elections.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Eight candidates will pursue four open seats on Cherry Hill Council in the fall, according to the township clerk's office.
Council President David Fleisher and Councilwomen Sangeeta Doshi and Carole Roskoph all filed to run for re-election by Monday’s deadline to file petitions to run in this year’s primary.
William A. Carter III, who was appointed to council after Carolyn Jacobs resigned last summer, will run for that seat. All four are Democrats.

Republicans Nicole Nance, David S. Lodge, Rossana Parsons and Diane C. Carr all filed petitions to challenge the incumbents.
All eight will run unopposed in their respective primaries, which take place June 8. June 8 is also the deadline for candidates to run a third-party or independent campaign.
