Alleged Rite Aid Robber Charged in Haddon Township Incident

Eric R. Harbinson, who was charged in two Cherry Hill crimes, was additionally charged in a Dollar Tree robbery in Haddon Township, police said.

A Mount Laurel man who was charged in two armed robberies in Cherry Hill and a third in Maple Shade has been hit with even more charges from another robbery in a neighboring town, according to authorities.

Eric R. Harbinson, 29, was charged with robbery and theft for a Jan. 30 robbery of the Dollar Tree store in Westmont Plaza on Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township, police said.

Harbinson, who also has an address in Audubon, had spent hours watching the store before going in a little more than half an hour before closing, police said. Harbinson approached a clerk at the store at 8:57 p.m. and demanded cash, then fled with the money on foot, police said.

Harbinson allegedly robbed two Rite Aid pharmacies in Cherry Hill on Jan. 31 and Feb. 4, as well as a CVS in Maple Shade.

In both the CVS and Rite Aid robberies, Harbinson flashed a gun at a clerk, Cherry Hill and Maple Shade police said. Haddon Township Police didn't indicate whether he'd done the same at the Dollar Tree.

Harbinson has previously been convicted on theft charges, both in Burlington County, in 2006 and 2011, for which he was sentenced to five years of probation.
