Charlie Musumeci Scholarship Fundraiser Wednesday
Volunteers are working to build a scholarship fund in memory of the longtime softball coach.
The Coastline is hosting a fundraiser this week for the Charles Musumeci Scholarship Fund, named in honor of the late coach and theater jack-of-all-trades, which will go toward scholarships for students who participate in theater or softball at Cherry Hill East.
Slated for Wedneday night from 7 to 9 p.m., the event includes a dinner buffet and $2 drinks for the cost of a $10 ticket, which can be purchased at East’s communications window.
Donations are also being accepted; they can be mailed to the Charles J. Musumeci Scholarship Fund, 1750 Kresson Rd., Room C109, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.

The softball team will accept donations through the season at the home field concession stand.
