Cherry Hill Coronavirus Test Site Still Open Amid Winter Storm
While the other coronavirus test sites in Camden County were closed on Tuesday, the site in Cherry Hill remains open.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Camden County residents still looking to get a coronavirus test on Tuesday can do so in Cherry Hill, according to county officials. The test site at Camden County College’s Cherry Hill campus remains operational, but all other test sites were closed on Tuesday due to the storm, officials said.
The Camden County Vaccination Center in Gloucester Township has rescheduled all appointments originally set for Monday and Tuesday. All appointments have been automatically rescheduled for Wednesday.
All other county offices and agencies were closed, including the Camden County Technical Schools, the Camden County Library System, and Camden County College. Online resources will remain available throughout the storm.

Snow continued to fall for a third straight day on Tuesday, although there wasn’t as much accumulation expected on Tuesday as the county saw through the first two days of the storm. Read more here: Here’s How Much Snow Camden County Has Tuesday Morning
“With snow continuing to fall for the third consecutive day, forecasts suggest we could still see an inch or more of additional accumulation throughout the day today,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to Camden County Department of Public Works. “Road conditions continue to improve as our crews have been at work nonstop since the first hint of snow on Sunday. Still, motorists should avoid travel when possible and be prepared for slippery conditions when they can’t.”

More than 100 pieces of equipment and 100 employees have been deployed from the Public Works complex in Lindenwold to Camden County’s 12 winter maintenance districts. The county’s response plan calls for crews to be dispatched only to the zones where they are needed.
In response to the storm, the Camden County Office of Emergency Management opened the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Lindenwold. Throughout the duration of the storm, staff will be monitoring its developments and standings by to assist residents.
“Any significant snow event brings with it the risk of downed trees, branches, and power lines. Please report any outages you experience to your utility company,” said Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the Camden County Office of Emergency Management. “We strongly recommend that everyone to stay off of the roads as county personnel work to keep them clear.”
