Cherry Hill East Swim Teams Earn Top Playoff Seeds

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The road to two swimming championships will go through Cherry Hill High School East. Both the boys and girls swim teams at Cherry Hill East earned No. 1 seeds in their playoff fields, and all four teams from both public high schools made the playoffs.

The Cherry Hill East boys swim team is the top seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Public A playoffs, according to nj.com. The distinction earns Cherry Hill East a double bye, meaning they won’t enter the tournament until the third round.

At that point, they will face No. 4 Lenape, No. 5 Southern or No. 12 Atlantic City. If they win that meet, they advance directly to the final where they will likely face No. 2 Egg Harbor Township.

The Cherry Hill West boys swim team is the No. 11 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Public B playoffs. They will visit No. 6 Gloucester Tech in the first round, with the winner visiting No. 3 Kingsway in the second round.
