“I am pleased to have a slate this year that is diverse and helps fill a need for more representation from the West side of Cherry Hill,” said Land, who lives with his husband in the East side Woodcrest development. “Our CHRO committee persons will soon be distributing electronic petitions so Cherry Hill Republicans can safely be a part of the nominating process. Most will be distributed by email and the signed petitions can be returned by the voter by fax, email or in person. This will be the first municipal election where that will be possible.”
Council President David Fleisher and Councilwomen Sangeeta Doshi and Carole Roskoph are all up for re-election this year. The seat that William A. Carter III was appointed to last summer will also be up for election.
