Cherry Hill Residents Can Show Off Pumpkins In Virtual Contest

Cherry Hill has launched an online contest for residents to show off their carved or decorated pumpkins.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — It’s going to be a Halloween like we’ve never seen before, and Cherry Hill is looking to do something different.

Cherry Hill will host a township-wide Virtual Pumpkin Contest. Residents are invited to carve or decorate their pumpkins with their most creative ideas and submit the photos to the township.

The contest is open to residents of all ages. Pictures must be submitted by Oct. 25, and voting continues through Oct. 29. Winners will be announced on Oct. 30.

Voting is open to anyone, and all entrants will receive a link to the photo album. Entry is free, and participants must be Cherry Hill residents.

Pumpkins must be carved or decorated. If decorating, supplies such as paint, markers, fabric, ribbons, etc. can be used. You can pin or glue objects, papers or materials to the pumpkins. Pumpkin design must be in good taste and appropriate for all aged viewers.

One winner will be announced in each category (carved and decorated) and age range (12 and under, and 13+) for the pumpkin with the most votes.

The winners in the 12-and-under category will win a prize pack with a $15 Barnes and Noble Gift Card. Winners in the 13-and-up category will receive a $25 Visa Gift Card. Click here to submit your pumpkin.
