Cherry Hill School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, More

CHERRY HILL, NY — The first day of school in Cherry Hill is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Cherry Hill School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/4: Full Day Teacher In-Service
• 9/5: Students' First Day, Early Dismissal (Elementary Only)
• 9/10-9/11: No School

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/8-11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal (Students and Staff)
• 11/22, 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• Early Dismissal (Elementary and Middle School Conferences)
• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15: Full Day Teacher In-Service
• 2/18: No School (Presidents’ Day)

March

• 3/15: Full Day Teacher In-Service

April

• 4/19 - 4/26: No School (Spring Break)
