Cherry Hill Schools Go Remote Ahead Of Impending Snowstorm

Cherry Hill schools will go remote as the region braces for another storm on Thursday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Thursday will be a full-remote learning day for students in the Cherry Hill Public School District, school officials announced on Wednesday, ahead of an impending snowstorm.

"Please note that the Cherry Hill Public Schools will operate on a full remote learning day tomorrow, Thursday, February 18, 2021," the district said in a message to the community. "All teachers will teach from home."

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for 17 New Jersey counties, including Camden, saying that snow and sleet accumulations could bring anywhere from 3 to 8 inches across the state.

The storm could be a combined snow and ice storm, and could knock down wires causing power outages, according to the National Weather Service.
