DETAILS: Veterans and active-duty military personnel will be honored by Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and Township Council during this virtual Memorial Day Ceremony. The Ceremony, cohosted by American Legion Post 372 and Jewish War Veterans Post 126, will recognize the 125th anniversary of the Jewish War Veterans and the 30th Anniversary of Operation Gulf Storm.

EVENT: National Trails Day
DATE: Saturday, June 5, 2021
TIME: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

COST: Free; Registration required.
DETAILS: The Cherry Hill Environmental Board will be making trail improvements, removing invasive species, picking up trash along the trails and more on this day of service and advocacy for hometown trails.
Interested participants should wear work clothes, bring insect repellent and sunscreen. Crews may be sent to various locations after checking in at Croft Farm. This volunteer opportunity is limited to 50 and registration is required. To register, please visit: https://bit.ly/3yowdGJ.

EVENT: Independence Day 5K and Block Party
DATE: Sunday, July 4, 2021
TIME: 8 – 11 a.m.
PLACE: Croft Farm, 100 Bortons Mill Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
COST: 5K: $35 per person; 1-Mile Walk: $20 per person
DETAILS: Kick-off your holiday with Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and Cherry Hill Township Council for the inaugural Independence Day 5K and Block Party at Croft Farm.
The morning features a chip-timed 5K and 1-Mile walk through Croft Farm and Maria Barnaby Greenwald Park (a mix of pavement and trail). Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female age group finishers in the 5K. Runners are encouraged to dress in their favorite red, white and blue; the best “4th-themed” runner will win a prize!
Enjoy post-race refreshments, awards ceremony, giveaways, DJ & more. The first 250 runners/walkers will receive a t-shirt. Please sign up by June 18 to guarantee shirt size. Participants will also receive a credit for free refreshments. Anyone not signed up will have the opportunity to purchase food so bring the whole family to enjoy some patriotic fun this Fourth of July.

DETAILS: Join us for the fifth annual Book It 5K hosted by Cherry Hill Public Library and the Cherry Hill Township Mayor’s Wellness Campaign. The morning features a chip-timed 5K, 1-Mile Walk, 100 yard Kids Dash. Participants of the 5K and 1-Mile Walk will receive a t-shirt.
The Book It 5K & Wellness Day is supported by the following community partners: Specialized Physical Therapy.
Volunteer opportunities are available during the 5K run. A portion of all race fees will benefit the Cherry Hill Public Library.
