Cherry Hill Town Hall, Public Works Set To Reopen

Cherry Hill's town hall and public works department will reopen June 21, about a month after the tax office reopened as restrictions ease.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill's town hall and public works department are set to reopen on June 21, about a month after the tax office reopened as restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic continue to ease.

Areas where the public interacts with township employees have been outfitted with clear plastic barriers, and residents are asked to wear a mask when inside Town Hall and Public Works, Mayor Susan Shin Angulo said in the announcement.

“As always, residents are encouraged to save time and continue to take advantage of the township’s convenient, online options to conduct business and access services with the township, like applying for permits, paying tax or sewer bills, or reporting concerns like fallen trees and potholes, among others,” Shin Angulo said.

The next step will be the return to in-person council meetings, which will take place in the N. John Amato Council Chambers (Room 208) of Town Hall, beginning in July. Information about the meetings and the public’s ability to participate virtually will be available before the meetings.

The announcement follows the lifting of all indoor gathering and capacity limits, as well as restrictions related to dance floors at bars and restaurants. Read more here: Another Big Reopening Day In NJ: What You Can Do Now Amid COVID
