Cherry Hill War Memorial to be Rededicated on Memorial Day
Three men who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan will be added to the township's 50-year-old memorial.

Cherry Hill will honor three township residents who paid the ultimate price in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan when township officials rededicate the war memorial on its 50th anniversary on Memorial Day Monday.
Marine Lt. Col. John Spahr and Army Capt. Gregory Dalessio, who were both killed in Iraq, and Marine Lance Cpl. Jeremy Kane, who died in Afghanistan, will all be honored, and their families acknowledged in the Memorial Day ceremony, which begins at 11 a.m. at the municipal complex on Mercer Street.
The commander of Fort Dix, Col. Jeffrey Doll, will deliver the keynote address at the rededication, and veterans and active-duty military personnel will be recognized as part of the program.
