Cherry Hill West Baseball Team Unbeaten Through 10 Games

CHERRY HILL, NJ - The Cherry Hill High School West baseball team is one of nine in the state that remains undefeated, according to nj.com. Cherry Hill West is 9-0 with victories over Norfolk Christian (VA), Camden, Winslow, Camden Catholic, Paul VI, Timber Creek, Washington Township, Holy Cross and Northern Burlington.
The Lions opened the season with a 4-0 win over Northern Burlington. Eli Atiya picked up the win, striking out nine and allowing two hits in six innings of work.
Ryan West was 3-for-3 with two triples and five RBI in Cherry Hill West’s 18-6 win over Holy Cross. John Gray and Nick Sylvester each had a home run in the win.

Scott Shaw was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and four RBI in Cherry Hill West’s 21-4 win over Washington Township. Jared Hernandez was 3-for-4 with five RBI in the win.
Cherry Hill West scored three runs in the top of the first and never looked back in a 6-1 win over Timber Creek. West was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI in the win.

Gray was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI inCherry Hill West’s 6-2 win over Paul VI. West belted a two-run homer in the win.
Tyler Kubrak had a double in Cherry Hill West’s 4-3 win over Camden Catholic.
Atiya struck out 10 batters in Cherry Hill West’s 13-0 win over Winslow. Gray and Danny Berckman each hit a home run.
Cherry Hill West had 14 runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a 24-0 win over Camden. West was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI, and the pitching staff allowed just one hit.
West was 1-for-4 with a triple and four RBI in Cherry Hill West’s 13-3 win over Norfolk Christian (Va.). Atiya struck out seven batters and allowed three hits in 5.2 innings of work.
