Cherry Hill West To Open Wrestling Playoffs At Home

Cherry Hill West will host Central Regional in the quarterfinals Monday night.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - The Cherry Hill High School West wrestling will begin its quest for a championship at home.

Cherry Hill West (18-3) is the No. 4 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 wrestling tournament, according to nj.com. The Lions host No. 5 Central Regional (11-10) in the quarterfinals on Monday, Feb. 4, 7 p.m.

The winner faces the winner of the match between top-seeded Kingsway and No. 8 Pennsauken in the semifinals on Feb. 6. The championship match is set for Feb. 8.

Cherry Hill West has recorded 12 wins in which it scored at least 50 points this season. One of its three losses came at the hands of Clearview, which is the No. 2 seed in the tournament.
