“We are extremely saddened to announce the death of eight additional members of the Camden County community, which tragically includes an infant who lost his life in January and whose death has since been attributed to COVID-19. We are keeping their families in our thoughts and prayers,” Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Unfortunately, this weekend continued last week’s trend of increased COVID-19 cases figures. We are hearing warnings from federal public health officials that signs of a potential fourth wave may be appearing across the country. We have not yet vaccinated enough of our population to stop this surge through shots alone. Please continue to be extremely cautious and do everything you can to protect yourself and others.”
