Facing the possibility of a developer swooping in and turning the 155-acre Woodcrest Country Clubinto a hospital or school or otherwise wiping out what’s one of the largest parcels of open space in the township, Cherry Hill officials outlined a plan to enlist county and state help to lodge a bid of their own in the club’s bankruptcy sale next month.

A Gloucester Township man is in jail and faces multiple charges after he allegedly stabbed four people, including a security guard, in a melee inside Top Dog on Route 70 in Cherry Hill early Sunday morning, March 31.
