Cooper Administers 10,000th COVID Vaccine Dose At Kroc Center

Cooper University Health Care administered its 10,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Kroc Center on Saturday.

CAMDEN, NJ — Cooper University Health Care administered its 10,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Cooper Community Vaccination and Education site located at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Camden on Saturday, the health system announced.

The shot was given to Camden resident Jose Palma, who received a gift bag in recognition of the milestone. The event featured free food distribution, Mister Softee ice cream, a variety of clinical health screenings, giveaways, and Q&A sessions to answer vaccination questions.

Cooper’s unique neighborhood Center has a strong education component to answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine for city residents.

Since then, Cooper has sponsored many COVID-19 education and information sessions for educational groups, civic associations, Camden ministers and faith leaders, and other community groups.
