Dog Found, Was Missing in Pennypacker Park

Griswold, a pup who had been missing since Thursday around Pennypacker Park, was found over the weekend and returned to his family.

The tan-and-white pit bull terrier mix was clipped by a car on Park Boulevard when his leash broke on a walk near the Waterford Apartments.

He was subsequently seen around Pennypacker and Wallworth parks, including a few sightings near Tatem School and Hopkins Pond, as noted in posts on the City of Elderly Love's Facebook page late Thursday night and Friday morning.

Several people had been out looking for the dog Friday and Saturday, including around Croft Farm, before he was found late Saturday.
