East Grad Helps Muhlenberg to Top-5 Conference Relay Finish

Josh Elkan helps his college relay team finish the winter season on a high note.

Muhlenberg sophomore and Cherry Hill East alum Josh Elkan closed out the indoor season strong, helping the school’s 4x800 relay team to a fifth-place finish in the Centennial Conference championship meet.

Elkan ran the third leg for the team, which finished in 8:09.64, just five seconds behind fourth-place Dickinson.

Earlier in the season, Elkan anchored Muhlenberg’s 4x800 team to a fourth-place finish at the Lafayette-Rider Games, and also raced to an individual sixth place in the 800 meters at the Kutztown Invitational.
