Ground Broken On Controversial Apartment Complex In Cherry Hill
The Evan's Mill apartment complex will be ready to begin leasing in 2017, according to the Courier Post.

Cherry Hill, NJ -- Developers have broken ground on the 152-unit Evan’s Mill apartment complex at Brace and Kresson roads in Cherry Hill, the Courier Post reports.
The project had seen fierce opposition from those who say the Cherry Hill Planning Board acted improperly in granting a pair of variances to help the project move forward back in 2012, according to the report.
One variance allows the apartment complex to be built in an area zoned for commercial use, and another allowed the buildings to exceed the 35-foot height limit by 5 feet, according to the report. The residents lost their challenge in court, and that decision was upheld by a state appeals court last year.
