CHERRY HILL, NJ — Even the coronavirus pandemic can't keep the Easter Bunny away for long. Easter is on the horizon, which means that once again, the Easter Bunny has hopped into the Cherry Hill Mall.

The mall is taking some safety precautions for this year’s photos, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Shoppers are invited to take pictures with the Easter Bunny in the Grand Court through April 3.

The Easter Bunny will be behind a plexiglass shield, and children will be placed in a designated seating area for photos. Anyone who is not getting their picture taken will be asked to stay socially distanced from the bunny and the photographers.

All shoppers will be asked to wear a face covering at all times, except during the photo shoot. When they arrive, they will have their temperature taken before getting their picture taken.

Employees will also be asked to wear face coverings at all times, and will have their temperature taken daily. The set will be sanitized after each visit, and hand sanitizer will be provided to all staff members.

Shoppers will have to make reservations in advance to have their pictures taken with the bunny. Anyone who has been exposed to someone who has the coronavirus or who has symptoms will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, with scheduled breaks each day.
