Latest Cherry Hill Election Results; Provisional Count Begins
With 150 of Camden County's 151 precincts tabulated, here are the latest results in the two elections in Cherry Hill.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — With 150 of Camden County’s 151 precincts tabulated, results have held steady in both the council and school board races in Cherry Hill.
A little more than a week after Election Day, the Camden County Board of Elections was scheduled to begin counting provisional ballots on Wednesday, with vote totals continuing to be updated through Nov. 23.
As of Tuesday night, Miriam Stern was still in first-place in the five-person race for three open seats on the Cherry Hill Public School District Board of Education with 21,892 votes, according to unofficial results posted by the Camden County Board of Elections.

Carol Matlack remained in second place with 20,176 votes, followed by Ineda "Corrien" Elmore-Stratton with 17,254 votes. John Papeika was next with 16,007 votes, followed by Aslihan Cakmak with 12,691 votes.

Democrat William A. Carter remained on pace to win the appointment to an unexpired term on Cherry Hill Council. He now has 25,328 votes, and Republican Nancy Feller O'Dowd has 14,108. Carter currently holds the seat, having been appointed following the resignation of Carolyn Jacobs.
As of Tuesday, 250,637 votes had been counted in an election that saw a turnout of 398,475 countywide. Out of that total, 250,434 were vote-by-mail ballots and 203 were machine ballots. Read more here: Here’s Why We Don’t Have Final Election Results In NJ
