M-Town Jazz Jam Performs Thursday Night
The group will feature student musicians, including a few from Cherry Hill.
Fans of jazz can catch M-Town Jazz Jam along with a number of student soloists this week at a live gig at Coffee Works in Voorhees.
The set, which is scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, will feature various students from local high schools—including a few from Cherry Hill—performing along with the five-piece band, which was founded in 2011 as a performing and music education group.
The performance is one of the last leading up to the group’s CD release party, which is scheduled for March 9 at Jacobs Music in the Barclay Farm Shopping Center on Route 70.
