Middle School Information Nights, High School Open Houses This Month

Cherry Hill’s annual high school guidance department Course of Study information nights start this week for eighth grade students and their parents.

The informational meetings go over course selection, placement and recommendations, as well as graduation requirements and college planning.

The first of the three meetings is Tuesday night at Beck Middle School, with the two others scheduled for Jan. 15 at Carusi Middle School and Jan. 16 at Rosa International Middle School. Snow dates are Jan. 14 at Beck, Jan. 22 at Carusi and Jan. 17 at Rosa. Parents unable to attend the night at their child’s school can attend either of the other two meetings.

Following those meetings, there will also be a pair of open houses at Cherry Hill East and Cherry Hill West, which include tours of the schools, presentations on high school life and opportunities to talk with high school administrators, coaches, club advisers, student leaders and guidance counselors.

West’s open house is slated for Jan. 30, while East’s is Feb. 13. Snow dates are Jan. 31 at West and Feb. 19 at East.
