Panda Express Comes To Cherry Hill With Grand Opening, Job Fairs

Panda Express is planning a grand opening celebration on Jan. 16 and a pair of job fairs around Martin Luther King Day.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - California-based Panda Express is coming to Cherry Hill, and the Chinese restaurant is holding a pair of hiring events around Martin Luther King Day.

The restaurant's grand opening is set for Wednesday, Jan. 16, 10:30 a.m. To celebrate Panda Express’s expansion into the New Jersey market, the restaurant will be donating a portion of launch day proceeds to Clara Barton Elementary School, a restaurant spokesperson said.

“We are humbled by the opportunity to bring Panda Express’s famous American Chinese favorites to the Cherry Hill community with the opening of the first Panda Express location in the area,” Jay Pola, Panda Express Area Coach of Operations Jay Pola said. “Anchored by our people-first values, we look forward to this chance to bring quality service to local residents as we continue the restaurant’s expansion in the area.”

The new Cherry Hill restaurant is located at 500 Route 38 and will offer dine-in and drive-thru services from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily. In addition, this location will offer an array of the restaurant’s iconic American Chinese dishes including its world-famous Original Orange Chicken, SweetFire Chicken Breast, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Shanghai Angus Steak.

It will hold career fairs on Monday, Jan. 21, and Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Dress code is business casual and potential employees should bring their resume. To register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/panda-express-interview-day-cherry-hill-nj-tickets-54249319174.

The Cherng Family opened the first Panda Express in Glendale, California in 1983, and has expanded across the country, according to the company’s website.
