New Police Chief, Council Members to be Sworn In

Cherry Hill's town hall will host a pair of ceremonies Thursday.

New Cherry Hill police Chief William “Bud” Monaghan and the township’s four council members who claimed victory in November will be formally installed Thursday in afternoon ceremonies at town hall.

Monaghan, the township’s 10th chief, will take the oath at 3:30 p.m. as former Chief Richard DelCampo, who retired effective Tuesday, officially hands over the reins.

Two hours later, the township council will hold its reorganization meeting, where four Democrats—three incumbents and newcomer Carole Roskoph—will take the oath of office.
