No Change In Cherry Hill Elections As County Updates Totals
Camden County began to update the vote totals in their races, but there was no change in the Cherry Hill race Wednesday afternoon.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — As postmarked ballots continue to come in to the Camden County Board of Elections, vote totals from Tuesday’s elections are beginning to be updated.
As of 3 p.m., though, there were no updates to the unofficial results in the Cherry Hill Public School District Board of Education race.
When counting paused Tuesday night, Miriam Stern, Carol Matlack and Ineda "Corrien" Elmore-Stratton were the leading vote-getters in the five-person field, according to unofficial results posted on the county's website.

Stern lead the way with 14,279 votes, followed by Matlack with 13,027 and Elmore-Stratton with 11,226. John Papeika was fourth with 9,431, followed by Aslihan Cakmak with 7,936.
There were 257 write-in votes, and a total of 56,156 vote-by-mail ballots had been counted. No provisional ballots have been counted as of Tuesday night.

In the special election for an unexpired term on Cherry Hill Township Council, Democrat William Carter III lead Republican Nancy Feller O'Dowd. Carter had 17,809 votes to O'Dowd's 6,909 votes. The winner will immediately be seated to fill the rest of Carolyn Jacobs' term. Carter sits on council after being appointed to the seat earlier this year.

Camden County officials had no information as to how many ballots were outstanding, or what the timeline would be for ballots to be counted.
The numbers in the presidential election were updated on Wednesday. With 93.33 percent of the vote in, Democrat Joe Biden had 71.61 percent of the vote in Camden County. President Donald Trump had 27.21 percent of the vote.
Biden had 105,963 votes. In 2016, Democrat Hillary Clinton had 117,308 votes in Camden County. Trump had 40,258 votes in this year’s election, compared to 59,716 in Camden County four years ago.
Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen had 730 votes in Camden County this year, followed by Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins with 342 votes. Four candidates had fewer than 100 votes, and there were 207 write-ins.
In the U.S. Senate race, incumbent Democrat Cory Booker won 71.33 percent of the vote in Camden County. Republican challenger Rik Mehta won 27.69 percent of the vote. Rep. Donald Norcross (D-1) won 71.79 percent of the vote over Republican challenger Claire Gustafson's 28.02 percent.
