Obituary: Andrew C. Stowell

Andrew C. Stowell, 26, of Mount Laurel, died on Sunday.

He is a graduate of Moorestown High Class of 2006 and Graduate of Villanova University Class of 2011, where he received his Nursing Degree. He was and EMT for the Cherry Hill Fire Department and worked as an RN in the Emergency room at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro.

He was an active firefighter with Hose Co. # 1 in Moorestown and former member and Lt. of the Moorestown Emergency Squad. He is survived by his parents the Rev. Philip W. Stowell and Susan Mann Stowell.

He was the brother of Jennifer ( Joe) Barbone and Amy ( Dino ) Dominquez. He is also survived by his nieces Mia, Sofia, and Emily, his nephew Bobby and his fiancee Rachel Delmar.

Moorestown Council issued the following statement remembering Stowell Monday morning:

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Firefighter EMT Andrew Stowell. Though his time on this earth was far too short, we salute him for the legacy of service he leaves behind and for the time he gave to our community in the Moorestown Fire Department. Our condolences and prayers are with Andrew’s fiancee, family, and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”

His funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ.

Visitation is Thursday evening, 6 p.m.- 8pm at the Church. Interment is at Trinity Memorial Garden.
