Obituary: Phyllis Howery

Phyllis Howery (nee Claypool), of Cadbury Retirement Community in Cherry Hill, formerly of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on June 23, 2017, at the age of 93. Phyllis was retired from the Camden City Schools where she had worked for many years as a teacher.

She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Pi Lambda Theta. Phyllis was a lifelong member of the Girls Scouts of Camden County, serving in many capacities over the years. She also was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 15658 Ladies auxiliary.

Wife of the late Richard. Mother of Cat, Tricia, Zoe and Rebecca. Also survived by her sister Jeanne and her 4 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at Our lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Interment at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Condolences may be left at www.lewisfuneralhomemoorestown.com.
