Reyta's In Cherry Hill Named One Of NJ's Top New Restaurants

CHERRY HILL, NJ — One of the 30 best new restaurants in the state recently opened in Cherry Hill, according to NJ Monthly. Reyta’s Filipino Cuisine was named among the magazine's "30 Best New Restaurants."

Here’s what the magazine said about the new restaurant:

“As you move down the steam-table line at Mark Reyta’s bustling Filipino eatery, you turo-turo, meaning point-point, to what you want. Mains—such as pork stew with shrimp paste or bright vinegar chicken—come with rice or fried noodles. Soothe the stimulated palate with halo-halo, shaved ice saturated with condensed milk and topped with tropical fruit and ice cream. BYO.”

It’s also receiving rave reviews on its Facebook page:

“No need to drive all the way to Jersey City or NYC for fine Filipino food. If you're from Cherry Hill or surrounding areas, this place is a must-try. Food is excellent with prices you can't beat. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff to bring the family to. I grew up in Woodcrest and lived a block away from here. This place used to be part of the bowling alley that I loved going to as a kid. So this location definitely brings back some nostalgia and the food here makes me wish I still lived in the area,” one person wrote.
