Whistleblower Suit Filed by Former Cherry Hill DSW Employee

Mary Stapleton, of Mount Laurel, filed an amended whistleblower suit in federal court last week, just over a year after she was fired from her position as assistant merchandise manager at the Cherry Hill store, seeking more than $75,000 in pay and damages.

Alleged Rite Aid Robber Charged in Haddon Township Incident

Eric R. Harbinson, 29, was charged with robbery and theft for a Jan. 30 robbery of the Dollar Tree store in Westmont Plaza on Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township, police said. Harbinson has also been accused of robberies in Cherry Hill and Maple Shade.

$8.9 Million Energy Savings Plan Gets Initial OK from School Board

Sixteen schools across Cherry Hill are in line to get new boilers, and the district plans to install lighting controls, new hot water pumps and power optimization controls as part of an $8.9 million energy savings plan given the initial OK by the school board Tuesday night.

Brian Grayson, 50, of Wisteria Avenue, was caught after Cherry Hill and Merchantville officers searched the area around Spruce Street following the report of the thefts, police said.
