Shoplifters Attacked Walmart Employee, Police Say

Two Camden County residents ended up landing themselves in deeper trouble after attacking an employee at Walmart last week, Cherry Hill Police said.

Gina N. Girgenti and Roy C. Musick, both of Waterford Township, were trying to leave the Route 38 store on Dec. 9 with $220.28 worth of shoplifted goods, police said, when they assaulted an employee who tried to stop them on the way out.

In addition to shoplifting charges, both were charged with robbery because of the fight, police said.
