Voorhees Man Arrested in Cherry Hill Led Family Drug Ring, Say Police
Robert F. Helsene Jr. was caught following a foot chase off Route 295 near the Route 70 interchange.

A Voorhees man who was arrested on the shoulder of Route 295 in Cherry Hill near the Route 70 interchange Wednesday was allegedly part of a family drug ring that brought in and distributed multi-kilogram quantities of Columbian cocaine, authorities told Gloucester Township Patch.
Robert F. Helsene Jr., 40, of Sandra Road in Voorhees, was arrested in a foot chase following a raid on his father’s home in Blackwood, and charged with first-degree distribution of cocaine, as well as eluding, weapons offenses and aggravated assault on police.
Charged as the leader of a drug operation, Helsene Jr. is being held in Camden County Jail on $1.9 million bail.
