Welcome to the Cherry Hill Police Benevolent Association #176
Meet the Officers of the Cherry Hill PBA Local 176

First of all, as always, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAST and CONTINUED SUPPORT! 2020 had been a challenging year, and I hope this letter finds you and yours in good health. Although there have been challenges on many levels, the Cherry Hill PBA Local # 176 has rose to the occasion and was able to provide some extraordinary assistance to give back to our community during the unprecedented pandemic.
We were able to provided lunch to the frontline workers at Jefferson Hospital, donated food delivery gift cards to furloughed employees, purchased grocery store gift cards for local families, and partnered with the American Legion Post # 372 on Operation Food Drop which provided fresh produce to area families. Our PBA members work to be a positive presence in our community and with your support, we will continue to assist a variety of local and charitable causes within and the community.
For those new to Cherry Hill, welcome, and allow me to take a moment to introduce you to the men and women of the Cherry Hill PBA Local 176 and how your contributions help our community. PBA Local 176 is the only organization which represents every Officer of the Cherry Hill Police Department. Our membership includes all ranks within the department from patrol officer to the Chief of Police. PBA Local 176 is the barging unit for the Cherry Hill Police Department’s officers and detective contract.

Our members are dedicated, hardworking professionals who are proud to serve our community. Among our members are those who have served in the military. We have several members who coach organized youth sports and many of us are your neighbors. We give back to the community by working with the American Legion to pick up and deliver donations to The Cherry Hill Food Pantry and together we host a Veteran’s dinner. We team up with Target for our annual “Shop with a Cop”- where children in need are partnered up with officers and are able to shop the store for Christmas and Holiday presents.
We have collaborated with numerous businesses to set up clothing donation bins on their parking lots. This past year, during the COVID pandemic, we provided lunches to Jefferson Hospital essential workers and teamed up with Rita’s Water Ice of the Ellisburg Shopping Center to deliver frozen treats to ER Staff. PBA 176 and the Cherry Hill Fire Department were able to raise over $3,000.00 for Shriners Hospitals for Children- Philadelphia.

In the past years we have contributed to:
Cherry Bowl Swim Club
PBA Golf Outing Benefiting the Cherry Hill Food Pantry
Camden County East NAACP
MRC Sports Unity Program
There's so much more, and as you can see, our officers take pride in the town that they serve.
Speaking of donations, the Cherry Hill PBA would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the CHPD family. Over the course of the pandemic, countless residents and business owners took time out of their day to drop off food, masks, PPE, and other items to the Police Department. As the town was living in its most desperate hour, the community outreach was refreshing and continues to be strong.
-From all of us at PBA Local 176, we thank you so very much.
