West Field Hockey Goes to OT Against Freehold Township
The Lions held the Patriots scoreless through regulation Monday.

Cherry Hill West narrowly missed out on its second straight playoff win and a potential major upset in the Central Jersey, Group 4 field hockey tournament, falling to Freehold Township, 1-0, in overtime Monday.
The No. 7-seeded Lions, who had beaten Manalapan at home, 2-0, in the opening round, held No. 2 Freehold Township scoreless through regulation time, as West keeper Anne Mularkey made seven saves.
The standout defensive effort couldn't hold into overtime, where the Patriots were able to take advantage of the seven-on-seven format to hammer in the game's only goal off the stick of Diana Pauciullo.
