For $1,250 a night, you can stay where the former heavyweight champion once lived in Cherry Hill. It has received rave reviews.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Parties planning a big trip to the Philadelphia area can now stay in the former mansion of the greatest heavyweight boxing champion of all time.
Muhammad Ali’s former home at 1121 Winding Drive in Cherry Hill, is available for rent on Airbnb for $1,250 a night. The home can house 12 guests, and features 5 beds in four bedrooms, with four bathrooms.
“The home has a gentle elegance of a bygone era; the natural world melds seamlessly with the spiritual world. It had to be lovingly renovated for today's times,” the site says. “It's a great place to work, relax, or socialize. Here we meditate on health, wealth, love, and happiness. We learn the way of champions. We remember not to "count the days, but to make the days count.”

“This home is in a very exclusive neighborhood. We are happy to host you for gathering or celebration,” the host writes. “But if you want to use this house for a ‘Party for Profit’ rental, then this is not the place for you. If you show up with a DJ, and security or promote your party as an event, you will be turned away and lose your investment.”

The home sits on 1.5 acres of land, and includes an indoor fireplace, a pool, hot tub, grill and about 40 other amenities. Plus, you can say you stayed at the home that once belonged to an all-time great in the boxing world.
The house was built in 1965, and Ali bought it for $108,000 in the 1970s, during the time of his fight with George Foreman which saw him reclaim the heavyweight championship of the world. Last October, the current owner put the home on the market for $3 million. It is currently off the market, according to Realtor.com. It is currently estimated to be worth about $2.7 million.
The home has received rave reviews from those who have rented there.
“Such an amazing place,” one person who rented the home in July wrote. “I hosted my husband's 40th birthday party here and everyone complimented me on how much they loved the house and how I threw a great party. I had some trouble getting my phone to pair with the Sonos sound system, but we played music via YouTube and still had a great time. At least 4 or 5 of our friends said they will be booking this house to host their parties. Bernie is amazing and if you keep it real with her, you won't have any issues. All around a great place with great hosts. It was hard to get my family to leave the next day. If you're on the fence...go for it. You will not be disappointed!”
Others wrote, “Great stay!!! Would stay again!” and “Very friendly host!”
