Young Marlton Actress Performs in "Matilda the Musical"

Naomi Serrano performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!

Naomi Serrano, an 8th grader at DeMasi Middle School and Marlton, NJ resident, performs in the ensemble of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical. This musical marks Naomi’s third production on the Walnut stage, previously performing in the 2016 production of the Wizard of Oz and the 2017 production of Annie. The Walnut incubated Naomi’s love of performing. She will begin to try screen acting soon and hopes to return to the Walnut in the future to perform as an adult.
