10,000 Without Power, Traffic Light Down In Union County
As a severe thunderstorm sweeps through the area, more than 10,000 locals are already without power and a traffic light is out on Tuesday.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — As a severe thunderstorm sweeps through the area, more than 10,000 locals are already without power and a traffic light is out on Tuesday afternoon.
Garwood Police reported the traffic signal at North Avenue and Cedar Street is out, as of 2:20 p.m. Drivers should use caution in the area and expect delays.
PSE&G is reporting 10,107 customers are without power as well. Here is the breakdown:

The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 2:30 p.m. and could bring 60 mph wind gusts with possible damage to trees and power lines, according to the National Weather Service.
The flash flood watch is in effect through 5 p.m. as heavy rain expected in the area.
