2 Union County CVS Sites To Begin COVID-19 Vaccines

Vaccinations will be by appointment only and supplies are limited.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Two Union County CVS sites are among the locations in New Jersey to be getting COVID-19 vaccines. But don't rush over, supplies are limited and vaccinations will be by appointment only.

A CVS site in Elizabeth and in Union were among the two listed. A company spokesperson said they will only provide specific addresses to people with appointments, since supply is limited. Patients must make appointments at cvs.com.

CVS will receive 19,900 doses of the vaccine through the Federal Pharmacy Partnership, Gov. Phi Murphy said during his Wednesday news conference.

"Because locations and supply are limited, we want to prevent stores from being overwhelmed by those who may seek a vaccination without making an appointment. Vaccinations will be by appointment-only and we want to encourage eligible patients to use our online scheduling tool to find a location that is convenient for them to access," stated a spokesperson with CVS.

CVS patients must register in advance at CVS.com or through the CVS Pharmacy app, and people without online access can contact CVS customer service: (800) 746-7287.
