2021 Summer Pickleball Smackdown Tournament Hits Township Of Clark

CLARK, NJ – The 2021 Summer Pickleball Smackdown Tournament took over the Clark Recreation Center on May 21. The weather was hot and so was the competition as singles and doubles squared off in the ultimate challenge.
John and Susy Silvestri organized the event which included prizes and various contests for wackiest outfit, best matching outfits and best mixed doubles matching outfits.

Proceeds from the event were donated to Clark UNICO. The Silvestri’s presented UNICO President Joseph Arancio and Vice President Ralph Bernardo with a check for $2500.
“This was such a great event, players were excited to be in the game, spectators were glad to cheer them on and in the end the Silvestri’s produced a great tournament,” said Recreation Director and Vice President of UNICO, Ralph Bernardo. “The donation to the charitable work of UNICO is such a welcome gift.”
