Restoration Not Expected For Days For Clark, Garwood Residents

Tropical Storm Isaias has caused about 2,600 residents to lose power. PSE&Greports power is expected to be restored by Thursday at 3 p.m.​

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — Tropical Storm Isaias caused about 2,600 residents of Clark and Garwood to lose power on Tuesday with restoration not expected for days.

PSE&G is reporting 1,884 residents in Clark and 751 Garwood residents are without power as of 6 p.m. Power is expected to restored by Thursday at 3 p.m.

There is a total of 43,433 PSE&G customers in Union County without power and 21,311 JCP&L customers in the county without power as of 6:30 p.m.

A flash flood watch, tornado watch, and tropical storm warning were issued for Union County on Tuesday due to Tropical Storm Isaias.

As a result of the storm, the New Jersey MVC announced through its website that all agency locations were closed Tuesday.
