63-Year-Old Time Capsule Found In Clark Police Department

The township will open the time capsule recovered from inside the former police building live Monday night during the council meeting

CLARK, NJ — Mystery awaits residents as the township council plans to open a time capsule found inside the former police department building during demolition.

The time capsule will be opened during the council meeting on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Residents can watch live on the Clark Channel TV36. The plan is also to have it livestreamed on the township's Facebook page.

The former building was constructed in 1958 making the capsule 63 years old. The old building was officially closed on Feb. 24 and all police operations were moved into the new building, which is located behind the former building.
