Car Fire Closes Parkway Circle In Clark
Breaking: Drivers should expect heavy traffic in and around the area and should avoid the area if they can, Clark Police report.
CLARK, NJ — A car fire underneath a bridge has caused the Parkway Circle to close Tuesday in Clark, police announce as of 11:47 a.m.
The mini cooper caught fire around 11:30 a.m. and upon Clark Fire Department's arrival the driver had already escaped, Clark Fire Chief Frank Cerasa said.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire around noon. However, Cerasa said since the car was burning for awhile the bridge will need to be inspected for the roadway is reopened.
