CLARK, NJ — Clark has canceled its postponed July 4th fireworks set for Sunday, Sept. 6 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the township announced Tuesday.

"Saddened to cancel but we want everyone safe and would rather be safe — sacrifice this year and come back stronger next year — same with the feast," Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo said.

The 4th of July fireworks had been postponed for Labor Day weekend due to the coronavirus. As health conditions still have not improved enough, the Sept. 6 fireworks are now canceled.
