CLARK, NJ — BurgerIM in Clark is collecting handmade thank you cards created by kids and also donating meals to those working on the front lines of the new coronavirus pandemic.
"Saying 'thank you' is a simple and powerful gesture of appreciation. These frontliners are going the extra-mile supporting our community and saving our lives. Also providing meals to them at this time is helpful as they work 12 hours shifts and are tired to make meals for themselves," said Jalpesh Chokshi owner of the BurgerIM in Clark.

Additionally Chokshi is also collecting donations to be able to feed the first responders, medical staff and people in need. He has already donated more than 100 meals including to staff members at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway.
For every $10 donated it will provide a full meal of a 1/4lb Big burger, fries and side of salad. To make a donation visit BurgerIM's GoFundMe at gofundme.com/f/meals-for-covid19-frontliners.
"This is also another way of appreciation which shows a relationship is not one-sided," said Chokshi. "Our community has supported us all year long and it is now our time to give back. We believe in giving back to our community."
